The Value of Life

Posted on Jun 5th, 2007 by Jeffrey : Revolutionary Antagonist Jeffrey
Meaning

I am positive. Life is more than it appears. If I skim the surface I'll see nothing more than arguments with significant others, social mishaps, feeble ambitions driven by greed and materialism, and trivial quests for acceptance. These are the end results of a life lived for itself. A life such as this is not whole, is not complete, such a life is not worthy of the gift of existence. No, each person does not have to be a Martin Luther King Jr. or Gandhi but each person does have the chance to affect their surroundings in an unselfish positive way in some shape or form. Life is never about the individual because no life is ever constructed without the influences of others and each living organism is connected to one another somewhere down the line. Therefore, no life is the life of just one, but rather life itself is of us all. Life is ours and throughout life we become responsible for more than just our own bodies. Only when life is lived for another has life been lived with meaning.

Achievement

There should come a time in ones life when he or she realizes their potential and full capability. Achievement is only as possible as the mind believes and an obstacle is merely a chance to grow, learn, mature, and become stronger in order to withstand the road ahead. There is only one person in this realm of existence that can hold you back, that person is yourself. Success, joy, fulfillment, and the rest of this planet's bounty are in reach of every person in life. It is only up to us to reach out and take it and if it is there for us to have one must realize it already belongs to us. Each second, each minute, each hour, each day, each week, each month, and each year is an opportunity to live life to the fullest and take what is already ours to have. Triumph is an arms length away if only we make it so.

End of beginning

Know of my life as a journey - a journey that I am so grateful to have shared with every last one of you. Through out our trying times to our joyful embraces we have created the essence of this journey to which we hold dear. We have cried with one another, laughed with one another, learned with one another, grown and matured with one another and at this moment my journey, our journey together, is not over-for I am not forgotten. The memories we share are still very much so alive in your hearts, the essence of our journey lives on, therefore, the journey continues. Thank you for living life with me and being a part of who I am. I love you all so very much."
